Chantelar Studios uses digital recording via Cakewalk Pro Suite with multiple audio tracks and midi tracks available, making it ideal for your projects needs. The mobile recording service uses an 8-track analogue unit.

Various instruments are available including an electronic drumset, synthesizers, a bass, and drum machines.

We also have a studio exclusive list of session musicians available to us for call in (advance notice required in most cases). The cost of their services vary and are not set by the studio……they are comparable with "Union Scale" however (though not all of them are in the Union).

"Basic Production" includes a mixdown to cassette or CD. We also make a demo cover for your reference copy including a limited credit liner. (Extras are available at a small per cassette or per CD charge)

"Production Counseling" includes the engineer offering advice during the recording project as to how to improve or enhance the sound of your recording. This may include instrument arrangements, vocal harmonies, performance techniques, and more. However, as a counselor, he is only there to offer advice and will not make the final decision on the project, the client will decide whether or not to make the changes or add the additional parts. The hourly fee is added on to the studio rental fee and is only for the time spent recording. There will not be a charge during setup or mix down.

"Advanced Mix Production" includes creative mixing from the engineer as a co-producer of the mix. The engineer will mix the recording using techniques and tricks that he has learned in his experience and that fit his tastes. Client involvement is still welcome during this time. Similar to Production Counseling, the hourly charge is only added to the studio rental fee during mixdown.

We also have a list of producers that can be hired to fully produce your material. Their availability and costs vary. Full production includes the arranging of instruments and vocals, responsibility for the overall sound of the recording, and lyrical decisions. Costs may include points on the album, publishing rights, and/or production fees. Producers will generally work with the act for several rehearsals BEFORE coming into the studio to work out the arrangements and lyrical decisions. Advanced notice is therefore recommended.

Instrument arrangement is also available. All styles and formats. All types of instruments. Arrangement fees are below Union Scale. Whether you have lyrics and a melody written, or the basic chord structure for one or two instruments, or simply have a song in your head that you want to get out and onto CD? We can make it happen!

Album Package Design & Duplication is available as well (at various rates) 1000 CDs? 1000 tapes? Your picture on the album's cover? Whatever you need….we can do it!

We also offer Label and Venue Shopping. That is, we will send your demo or promopak to the record labels and the venues for you! Let them know you are out there! Venues are available by state and include conferences that are in the area. Label shopping is available by style of music. See the information sheet for more information. We have a researched list of SEVERAL venues, conferences and record labels (independent and major)! Put our research to work for you!

We have connections to visual artists to help design and produce your album art and posters. We also offer packages for complete product duplication included Compact Disc, Cassettes, Gig Posters, Display advertising and More! See the information sheet for more information!
