To learn more about a recording artist, you can watch their growth through their work. Assuming their entire career is available, you can look at the artist's first record and you will see a different person than if you look at their final release. People grow. And artists change their expressions as they learn more and more truth.

In Christian music, this hasn't been possible. You can see as much of an artist after salvation as they have released but the pre-salvation was a mystery. Maybe they would share their story, their testimony, verbally at their concerts. A Christian's testimony is the most powerful tool they have to evangelize with. Being able to show where they have been and where God has brought them too. Our mission is to allow music-lovers to view an artist's entire musical career, including the work from when they were lost.  

By doing so, one can appreciate what God has brought them out of and maybe even relate to it...to see themselves in the artist's past. Then as you listen to an artist's career from the beginning to the end, you can grow with them. Take the journey of depravity into truth.

Musically speaking, you will be able to watch how they grew as a craftsman. Hear the changing of their sound, watch for changes in influences, the favoritism of one instrument or style over another during certain points of their career.... this is art appreciation. Not only do we make it possible but we encourage it.
